I hope your week is going well! I must say, there are loads of items that I'm gazing at online at the moment, though most seem to be in patterns, olive green, or taupe hues. I have finally been able to wear my new gloves and scarves for a bit. But, I've also enjoyed remixing older pieces from my wardrobe due to having limited access (to my entire collection) at the moment.
It's always a nice feeling to wear an article of clothing that brings to mind special memories, whether it's the memory of when you acquired the garment or a significant period that was happening in your life. This jacket was exactly that! My co-worker somehow scored 2 tickets to a dinner theatre and could not attend, so she gave them to me instead! I decided on this outfit because I had been wanting to wear this vintage jacket again for some time, so I finally brought it out!

This outfit marries two things that I love, vintage and lace, both a little modern and dated!
Have you ever felt happy with your outfit no matter how simple it might be—the sun is gleaming down at you, and everything about your day seems to be going on your side. Yes, I believe I had one of those days!
As for the outing, our dinner was excellent, however the theatre was less than underwhelming. But, you know what, I really can't complain too much for a night out without us having to spend any money at all! This was a rare moment, so I took it all in and focused on the positive highlights of our night ... the laughter and great conversation, amongst many other things. And now, I have one more special memory to add about wearing this jacket.

That lace dress is amazing! I can't really get over it. I would totally steal it from you. Also loving the burgundy jacket. I need to go to a dinner theater soon.
ReplyDeleteHi dear, this is a beautifully elegant dress and I like the combination of leather (burgundy looks so unique) with lace. Its a great mix.

Hi sweetie,
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well. So glad to hear you had great night out and I have to say your look amazing! I love that dress, the lace is beautiful and I love the sexier cut is has and the very chic length it falls at. The leather jacket contrasts those delicate tones so nicely, I love leather and lace styled together, their strong contrasts seem to somehow compliment each other perfectly, I particularly love the colour of your leather jacket. The simple and classic shoes are the perfect choice and so if you haven't guessed already I adore this look :)
Take care,
Daniella xox
