Instead of doing a roundup of my favourites from a collection of places, I thought I'd give you a taste of what has inspired me lately from one particular brand. Each of these are spring-summer items that I have fallen in love with, some primarily for colour, and others for unique details.
Mango has been one brand that I usually only acquire one or two pieces from typically all year. Not because I don't find anything pleasing, but generally I often forget to visit their store, and how much I favour their styles. The wedding/party collection is especially lovely. However, I've recently noticed that my online browsing sessions have been quite longer than normal on their site. When I saw these particular pieces, namely the gradated pleated dress, and embroidered straw clutch bags, I thought both were items that I would easily wear.
The sky blue slip dress with spaghetti straps is a charming classic and silhouette. I could see it being worn with a denim or leather jacket for cooler evenings. It's a pity about my top two pieces (the pleated dress and slip dress) being entirely of polyester though, as I initially expected a different fabrication or blend. I think I would roast in those dresses on a hot day. But, the cotton lace vintage-inspired dresses made up for it. The white lace dress (seen below) would actually be my first choice, and since I don't own a heaping of red in my wardrobe, I would gladly wear that style as well.
