Have you heard of Moi-Même Box? If you haven't, then you're in for a treat. Moi-Même is a UK-based subscription service dedicated to providing busy women with the element of surprise every three months. Boxes come with special gifts that are unique, relaxing, and above all, quality products. Ladies who want to learn about new brands can treat themselves with a customised box chock full of goodies. I received the Hygge October box.
Moi-Même is based in Bath, one of my favourite parts of England. The boxes consist of independent designers and labels with products ranging from lifestyle to beauty.
One of the many things that I miss when I'd visit family friends and when my sister lived in Sweden is buying skin care and fashion pieces. What better way to start the transition of seasons than with a warm Scandinavian embrace. Moi Même just launched this year, so this is the second themed box, and this time it has an autumn Scandi-theme. My box contents came with the following items:
1. Nuori Vital Eye Cream - (Sample size 5 ml), full-size is 15 ml. £50 This is a lightweight cream that is hydrating on the skin. Ingredients include organic aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, shea butter, as well as vitamin C and E for antioxidant protection.
2. Nuori Vital Foaming Cleanser (Full Size: 100 ml/ 3.4 oz) - £25 This cleanser is airy, gentle and has a smooth application. Ingredients include pomegranate enzyme and radish root extract. Nuori Skincare is a Danish line of fresh skin care products that are free from parabens, synthetic colour and fragrances, sulphates, mineral oil, and other nasties.
*All of their beauty products are freshly blended every twelve weeks in small batches. Both of the Nuori products are mild in smell and did not bother my allergies. Each also has a smoothly designed pump top to protect the contents from bacteria, light exposure, and air.
4. Yawn - Lavender Bag (Grey) £5 I knew that I would love this since I am healthily obsessed with lavender, to begin with. This miniature sack comes in four designs that are all seeped in the beautiful lavender aroma.
5. The Bath Candle Company (Vanilla) £25 An elegantly scented jar candle that would be suitable for a housewarming, a quiet night in, or you know, for those "kumbaya" moments. Other fragrances include Orange & Chili (doesn't that combination sound incredible?), English Pear & Vanilla, Dark Pomegranate, and Somerset Apple & Cinnamon. This is a local brand from Bath that produces luxury eco-friendly soy wax candles (sourced in the UK).
6. Edblad - Monaco Bracelet (Rose Gold) -£26 This nickel safe circle charm bracelet is such a lovely dainty and simple jewellery piece. Hans and Cathrine Edblad designed this bracelet—the Swedish design duo pride themselves on developing high-quality, sustainable products.
7. Welcome booklet: a leaflet with a list of product descriptions and messages from the Moi Meme team about why they chose each item for the box.
Everything within the box is useful and entirely gives you that cosy feeling. My top three favourite pieces were the comfy Yawn socks, Nuori foaming cleanser, and the Edblad bracelet, which is the perfect blend of understated charm and dainty bling for cooler months. If I'd sum up this box it would fittingly be, "lagom" — there's just the right amount!
Cost: £49.95/Quarterly
Verdict: I loved this box! Given that it is £49.95 quarterly and not monthly, I think this box is worth it, especially since you know that the contents of the box and brand partnerships are carefully selected. If you have the extra wallet, I think it's a great box to try out. You will be receiving five full-size products with samples sometimes as well. It averages to roughly £100+ box of goods, depending on what surprises you have inside. This box was £135 worth of goodies.
There are always surprises within each box, which in my opinion I loved since I don’t typically subscribe to beauty or fashion-related boxes—the team did an ace job at curating it to my satisfaction.

This pair would make a lovely stocking filler as well. Yawn is a burgeoning brand founded by Alice Whiteley in 2014. You may have seen her pieces at Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Wolf & Badger, or Arnotts.
