GANT Casual

My daily wardrobe is quite dressed up because of work, but when I am not in the office, I have the fortune of working from home. This means that I can be slightly more casual on days that I am not busy running around.

I was recently sent some pieces from GANT, including this fun sweatshirt, star of the art. The Diamond G shirt is made of 100% merino wool, which will keep you quite warm in the winter. Somewhere between having a casual day out of the office and trotting off to the countryside, I found time to take a few style shots (I know, it has been ages).

There's nothing like beautiful blue shirting, whether its French blue or in this case, a "clear blue" colour that reminds you of the sky—amongst the obligatory fashionista's LBD, classic wardrobe pieces for me definitely involve a nice shirt.

These Gant styles are of great quality and since I don't usually wear as casual of styles as a sweatshirt or very laid-back pieces unless it's the weekend. But, I liked the idea of wearing a sweatshirt with a pleated skirt. I also don't have too many sweatshirts, I think two in total.  As for the shirt, I can't wait to wear it more—likely will be wearing it with my blazer for work but I can also see it on the weekend loosely buttoned with my favourite pair of denim

Here's a peek at one of my casual off-duty styles, nothing too fancy. I have to say, it was sunny but freezing. I should have grabbed my blush furry number, but I shall save that coat for another style post … perhaps in the near future.

Are you familiar with the collection from GANT? What do you think of these pieces?
