The Veráge Skin Care Collection by dōTERRA is a line that is made with plant-based extracts, emollients and essential oils. Natural ingredients are used to support the company's ethos and quality standards.

Claims: A skin balancing line for healthier skin with a youthful look, reducing visible signs of ageing. [Full ingredient list here]

Spa Hydrating Body Mist with Beautiful BlendThis mist uses an airless sprayer technology 360° application, making it ideal to use on your whole body easilyIt’s entirely hydrating and after the first spray, one might think that it would be greasy but it’s not at all. Rub it in your dry skin as a refreshing body oil or post-shower hydrating dry oil.

It’s a diverse mix of avocado, lime, Osmanthus, passion fruit, bergamot, and sunflower oils, with coconut-derived triglyceride to sustain the natural barrier of the skin. You can definitely smell the lime and bergamot fragrance, which is a gorgeous and elegant scent.

Veráge™ Cleanser: This works well as any cleanser. I did not mind it the subtle tingly feeling and my sensitive skin was fine afterwards. The climate may have something to do with that as well. It’s a semi-translucent liquid formula that pumps out easily and slightly lathers.

Overall, this was surprisingly good. If you don’t like having a slight tingly sensation with your cleanser, then I would opt for using this a wee bit less, or perhaps use a cream cleanser.

Veráge™ Toner: Infused with aloe vera leaf juice, ylang-ylang, coriander and cypress oil, this toner is a unique and refreshing formula. It's a foaming toner spray that gives a dewy complexion. I don't typically use foaming toners but I really liked how it worked after removing makeup and cleansing my face.
Veráge™ Immortelle Hydrating Serum: Confession: I am obsessed with serums! This is a very lightweight serum; the clear oil comes out rather quickly but glides on smooth. You can smell hints of helichrysum, rose, frankincense, and myrrh. This is also formulated with jojoba, olive and macadamia oils to soften the skin so it feels luxurious.  The scent itself is pleasant but not immediately detectable. Using one pump will cover your face or two pumps including the décolletage.

Veráge™ Moisturizer: This facial moisturiser is a cream-like lotion that is made with sea buckthorn berry, shea butter, juniper berry, and jasmine oils. The nourishing plant extracts of amur corktree bark, and juniper berry help to improve and soothe the skin, and it's rich in vitamin E, fatty acids from the sea buckthorn berry. This was a non-irritating formula that left my skin hydrated well.

I must say, this line was such a unique collection of lovely skincare. Although this Veráge™ collection is very nice as a whole I do have a few favourites that I feel exceed the rest. I was most impressed by the hydrating spray oil — it's one that I have been using pretty much on a daily basisand the facial serum

Fortunately, I have been blessed with pretty good genes so I cannot really talk about if I noticed a difference with the ageing part, however, due to the ingredients used with specific essential oils it would seem that it would indeed make a difference over time. I also think that this line actually helped a great deal for me during allergy season.

Have you tried skincare with essential oils or any botanical essence?
