If you’re planning a wedding or if you have great friends that you really, really love, these two collections that I am sharing with you today are perfect gift options.

In fact, since we’ll soon be ushering in the transitional season, it’s a good time to continue the conversation of special occasions, weddings and frankly any reason to throw a dinner party. Although we are only at the outset of making more hot chais and heartier dishes, there’s plenty of room for adjustments to fit Mepra pieces in any event—perhaps even well-suited as an ‘everyday luxury’ set. You know, we’re always headed in that direction here on FT!

Silver cookware

The STILE cookware by Pininfarina merges simplicity and function; the award-winning design allows ease of cooking alongside the aesthetic of luxury. Not to be outdone, Mepra’s Venere flatware art sets are completely what you need for an evening meal à la posh glamour.

Stay tuned for new recipes on this and more for the pre-autumn season.

Venere: Flatware Set - Oro Nero
The intricate design details in the black gold (Oro Nero) are made in 18/10 stainless steel, hand-painted with an electronic laser engraver and with the exact methods used by ancient master craftsmen.  These are exclusively designed by Mepra

The details in this cutlery set are so fine that at first glance it looks like a vine or florals, but the engraved pearl strands with seashells of fan and croissant-like shapes romanticises the concept of casual coastal components being placed in a lavish setting. I also loved the juxtaposition of the two blended elements, the essence of littoral luxury.

Benefits: STILE Collection-Casserole Pan and Frying Pan
  • Heat is retained longer, even after being removed from the heat source.
  • Reduces damage to ceramic hobs and induction; the frying pan has a non-sharp cornered bottom edge. A convenient ergonomic grip design due to the rounded edge of the oversized handle.

  • The thoughtful design includes attention to details. The interior has an Eterna® non-stick coating (only in the frying pan) that is safe to use even with non-sharp metal utensils. The frying pan is PFOA free and 100% dishwasher safe, a wonderful family-friendly option.

Elegant pieces like these should be given to people who will appreciate them. I am certain that any offerings from the Stile collection would be marvellous for your homeThe maintenance is not high at all, especially with the design being so versatile and not fussy even for seasoned cooks.

Entertaining:
If you want to warm hearts and fill empty stomachs, then throw a small summer ending feast. For us, a persuasive seafood boil for two or six is the right amount. Lay the table out with some fresh garden greens and herbs to be braised, the veggies to be roasted, and I will tell you toasting farewell to the season never tasted or smelled so good.

Whether it’s brunch or supper, I certainly tried to give you a clear vision of how using the Venere set would be; alas, the ease into sumptuous decadence can indeed be approachable. Take my comfortably assembled crêpes, flapjack-like soft folded pillows — dressed with a freshly made blackberry compote. A somewhat casual dish just got elevated in a mere moment, sans compromising on exquisite taste, sleek style, or viable function.

Now, the question is, which piece would you gift, or rather, which item could you use in your home?
