A Kind Experience [Kinder Beauty]

Monday

Hello darlings! After some sleepless nights and the bearings of remote work happening full-on, I decided to take a much needed mental health break. It was overdue. Alas, I am back to share an interesting brand with you today.

Kinder Beauty Box is a curated subscription box that focusses on cruelty-free and plant-based beauty care.

Founded by Irish actress and activist, Evanna Lynch (you may remember her as Luna Lovegood in 'Harry Potter'), and American actress and singer, Daniella Monet, it's not exactly the same old mainstream beauty subscription box that one might think. The company prides itself on going the extra mile to offer consumers items that are much kinder for your skin as well as the world we live in.

With everyone being somewhat quarantined (many still are), getting a parcel in the post like this will surely bring a smile to your face. I am sure that ‘self-care’ and being kind to yourself may have already taken a whole new meaning to you by now. The subscription market has massively increased in recent years anyway and will likely continue to rise. Due to the aforementioned limitations in recent months.

What's Inside: To my surprise, many of the products I had not tried before and from past boxes that I have seen, it seems to be quite a lovely range of products, from skincare to haircare.

  1. 1. Willing Beauty – Do-Over Cleanser: This thick white cream cleanser is safe for sensitive skin. I liked this cleanser, it’s mild in scent, nearly none which I liked, and it washes off well sans stripping off moisture from your skin. Made with apple extract, and a proprietary HY+5 COMPLEX.
  1. 2. ESW Beauty – Green Reset Mask (Kale/Spinach/Broccoli/Apple): This eco-friendly mask is a raw juice anti-ageing mask, rich in vitamin C & E, phytonutrients and chlorophyll. It’s a white sheet mask with infused vegetable extracts. *Learn more
  1. 3. Medusa’s Makeup - Eye Dust (Penny West): This is a shimmering powder, one that I’m not too keen on but the colour is really coppery and pretty. It says that it can be used on lips, eyes, and the face.
  1. 4. Glaminizers – Dew + Renew Mist: This works as a setting spray, a misting spray that smells amazing. Made with vegetable glycerin (a natural humectant), and rosewater. It makes your skin dewy with a finish that glows.
  1. 5. Opagee Beauty Oil Blend: Rosehip: This skin glowing oil blend is a lovely oil that works well as a massage oil or a hydrating facial oil with rosehip. And arrowroot.

I love the concept of ethical products being available for consumers in one box with the approach of offering clean beauty, makeup, accessories and a range of skincare options. This monthly box is also available internationally. It’s 25 USD/20 GBP per month, and a portion of all sales benefit animal rights and environmental causes. Be kind to yourself. Consume consciously for a better future. @Ladyofashion

Although I enjoyed all of the products in this box for the most part, my favourite products were the cleanser and the dewy mist. This particular box also seemed to be the lightest [in value] in comparison to past boxes that I’ve seen.

If you’re into vegan and cruelty-free brands or looking to learn more about other clean beauty brands, then this may be ideal for you to try out.
