Updates, Foodie Treasures & Spring Bliss

Friday

I hope you’ve been enjoying springtime so far, although I guess it depends on what the weather has been like wherever you are. Things have been extremely busy this year, and I am grateful but have definitely missed blogging.

Garden tools and plant with dirt

I wanted to share a few bits from the past couple of months. I finally got our garden sorted for the season. I am also working on an e-book with wellness tips and helpful guides (some of you already know about it if you’re subscribed to my newsletters), and will launch that soon!

I will also be travelling again for work but this time I took a month off my full-time job and will be shooting food for local eateries and booked with a couple agencies. So far, I’ve had some amazing experiences this year. Part holiday, part business fun!

I made these healthy collard greens and salmon wraps (seen below), which work well for a hearty lunch or dinner. You can find the recipe here. I’ve also been trying to get into more recipe videos and such and started doing a few for different brands aside from the blog and social media. I can’t tell you enough how it’s really nice when I don’t have to share it on my own feed.

French Michelin star chef, David Airoldi started a new culinary seasoning range called, Le Fermier. Based in Australia, the burgeoning brand produces a diverse range of seasonings from rubs to spice blends that are lovely for cooking, marinating meat, vegetables, and seafood.

Some blends are beautiful just as a finishing spice to a dish. I recently shot a few items for the brand from one of his collection bundles last month. I made a delicious vegetarian pesto pasta dish with Perigord, a truffle-infused blend with hazelnuts and other spices. View the collection here. Pre-, and post-, probiotic natural supplement brand for gut health, Beekeepers Naturals are making waves for their new wellness and health focussed products. Backed by scientists and clinical research, their gut health capsules are pretty good. I used them recently and felt a difference, so far, I liked them. The brand also has other products. If you’re interested in checking out their site view it here.
