Fashion accessories are just as important as pairing together a proper fitted shirt and trousers. Fit, style, colour, and quality are all factors that should be considered. Choosing certain accessories may also depend on your lifestyle, the occasion, and even seasonal climate.
Expressive eyewear is an excellent way to show your personal style, whether it be classic or avant-garde. Nowadays, there are a multitude of genre variations to choose from: the vintage gent, the savvy sophisticate, the artful chap, the fearless trendsetter, and many more!
Sunglasses have become accessory finishers to outfits. They can be statement pieces and tie a complete look together like the perfect shoe. But, choose wisely, because just like your pearly whites smiling at the world, your eyewear is also one of the first things seen from afar.
If hi-tech, dramatic, and one-of-a-kind describes your style, then the specialty eyewear line from Colors of Birch is probably for you. Finnish designer, Pekka Salokannel uses a 3D printing design on nylon to produce fashion-forward eyewear. Favourite model styles in frames and sizes can also be exclusively requested by the customer. Designers, Erik & Emilia, behind the Swedish eyewear brand E&E Glasses makes it quite easy for fashion enthusiasts to want to don spectacles anytime of the year, no matter what location! Their range of unisex sunglasses styles and colours are just a couple of reasons to adore the stylish brand. Have a look for yourself. Here are my favourites!

I love sunglasses. I wear regular glasses, so wearing sunglasses has never been easy. I did get a pair of glasses made into sunglasses for the first time this past year though & it's been brilliant. Made me want to buy masses of sunglasses and get them turned into glasses I could see out of, haha. These are inventive and different, love them!! I hope you have a marvellous week doll x
ReplyDeleteI quite love the second pair from the bottom! What a fun design and color!

I love sunglasses although I've never bought a new pair in my entire life. xxx
ReplyDeleteThe first one looks like a specimen under a microscope :D I must say, sunnies are the accessories that I don't really spend on. My best ones are a pair of Gucci given by ex-colleagues for my bday. I wanted generic browns but my lovely gay mates picked green as apparently it suited me more. My opinion didn't matter. Hahaha. I'd love some cat's eye but doesn't suit me--haven't seen a cat with a round face :D From this selection, I'd go for the one on the 2nd to the last photo. Have a lovely week Madison xx
ReplyDeleteLove love the first and second pair!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with mirror specs!! I am obsessed with them!

Madison, I always like to see people wear unique sunglasses and eyewear. It really says a lot about their personality. I purchased a pair of Chanel cat eye sunglasses about 4 years ago and they are still my go to. Just simple and chic. I want an oversize pair (just some cheapies). Great post doll. Wishing you a wonderful week.

Thanks for your kind words on my last post!
ReplyDeleteI'm sticking to classic shapes this season as I'm not very adventurous when it comes to sunglasses!
Have a fantastic day,

I'm all for dramatic eye-wear! Sunglasses are not only essential but like you said, they can tie a complete look together! I'm liking that sort of clear pair with the brown shades.
ReplyDeleteThose Colors of Birch ones really kick *ss! Personally, I tend to wear the ones with big frames coz of my round face:)
ReplyDeleteI really love sunglasses. The crazier, the better I say! My favorite pair is heart shaped <3
ReplyDeleteI've been looking forward to stopping by your blog since I first saw those cool black sunnies on FB. I think I could pull off the black cat eye ones for sure.

Wow, the first two are so futuristic! I can't leave home without sunnies, not so much for a fashion purpose but more for sun protection. The last few are great, I spotted 2 Id love to wear
ReplyDeleteLove your picks. I am sticking to my classic black oversized sunnies. Will get a new pair next year.
ReplyDeleteThe first two designs are really cutting edge. I wear sunglasses year round to shield my eyes from the sun but I think of them as a fashion accessory as well. I just got a new pair of Ray Bans which I'm loving.
ReplyDeleteHave a fab week dear Madison!

Very cool. Sunglasses can perform magic on our face.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Madison! I've got quite the collection but for some reason didn't pick up a new pair this year after my Tom Ford disaster at the end of last summer (they didn't fit and couldn't return them). Anyway, I just saw that pair with the leopard hanging over one frame on style.com this morning--they're so over the top but I think I would wear them anyway :)

Great shapes ! I love the white one :D
ReplyDeleteThis season I'm still into the aviator but also really like the cat eye shaped glasses :D
Just uploaded a new post and would love to know your opinion
on it :D !

I l Love John Beerens - Review!
Very unique designs!
ReplyDeleteI live in Oversized Sunnies year-round. It is the only frame shape I like on my face. :P
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH, those first two sunnies are GORGEOUS! I haven't worn sunnies in a while because of my prescription glasses, and just never had the time or thought to getting Rx ones, but I've just popped on over to Warby Parker to look at theirs and I might be ordering one soon!
ReplyDeleteThe first two are just so fun! I have trouble finding the right sunglasses for my face, so I pretty much have a pair of every style, haha. :)

Whoa! How do you even see out of the first two? Haha! I'm diggin' the others though, especially the pink pair :)

ReplyDeleteGlad that you liked them! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I can definitely see you in the oversized styles! :) lol
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, they are very cool! :)
ReplyDeleteI usually break my sunglasses for some reason. But I did manage to keep my Kate Spade and D&G styles from getting broken, which I am very surprised. haha. I love a great cat-eye anything as you probably have guessed. I recently bought cat-eye prescription spectacles that I just adore. Pink colour of all hues! :) xx Thanks for your comment dear.
ReplyDeleteI know! I love your mirror sunnies, I NEED a pair very soon! xx
ReplyDeleteI agree, sunglasses and eyewear in general, like shoes tell a lot about a person's style. That was the point of this post so I am very happy that you liked it. I hope your week is going well so far Kim. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks! Classic styles are nice as well.

Defnitely! I like to try certain styles, but wayfarer and cat-eye styles seem to suit me best! :) Thanks for your comment.
ReplyDeleteHappy that you liked those styles Emmy. Thanks for your comment.
ReplyDelete:) I love sunglasses as well. Funky styles can be so interesting to try. I've not tried heart-shaped yet though! :) /Madison
ReplyDeleteYes, I like that. A bit of style magic is needed at times! :)
ReplyDeleteStyle + eye protection = a very good thing! :) xo
ReplyDeleteAren't they cool? Thanks Sam for commenting. Sunglasses seem to be ultra statement accessories as well.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Glad that you were able to view them! I could definitely see you in those black ones! :)
ReplyDeletehah, I tend to break mine as well, but have been lucky recently. :) Thanks for commenting Em.
ReplyDelete:) Yes, I love sunglasses and eyewear in general now, which is funny becasue I used to not like wearing my eyeglasses at all. :) xx
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of sunnies as an accessory and honestly am completely dependent on them (I never leave home without a pair). Not only are they key for protecting the eyes, they can also cover up a tough night out!
ReplyDeleteoh man, love all of the sunnies!

Wow those first two pairs are so futuristic and certainly different. They make my Ray Ban Wayfarers seem boring. Even though I have tried different styles and brands, it's the Ray Bans that I go back to!
