Smile Brilliant

Friday

Several weeks ago, I have the pleasure to try out a teeth whitening kit from Smile Brilliant. I have heard loads of reviews on teeth whitening in general, even some of my friends have bought whitening strips, but I had actually never used one.

When I think about teeth whitening, my initial thought is always a visual of that one Friends episode, of Ross Geller's teeth with his date. I mean, let's face it, who wants teeth so white that it glows in the dark? Hello, nineties flashback!

How To:
Smile Brilliant provides you with custom bleaching trays, and instructions on how to create your own impressions. Next, a pre-paid envelope is provided for you to mail your impressions straight to the lab. Then, their lab creates your custom trays, and you can start the process as soon as receiving the trays by using the gel-filled syringes given in your kit. This usually takes approximately anywhere from twenty minutes to three hours, depending on how long you want or need to whiten your teeth.

Details: The 22% Hi-Intensity Teeth Whitening Gel is used to whiten your teeth, which is the same gel used from dentists all over the world with no mixed blends or fillers. The brand gives a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and their process does not damage the enamel on teeth. am an avid tea drinker, and occasional espresso lover, so it couldn't hurt to have a brighter smile even with average white teeth and no stains

The Verdict: On my first try, I messed up my initial impression, which was hilarious because it's very easy to do. But, you receive an extra container of mixing paste in case you fluff it all up like I did on the first round. I'm happy with the result. I kept the trays in for about one hour each time to whiten, for three times; I found that having them in any time longer than an hour made my gums sensitive. But, everyone is different. Overall, does it work? Yes.

Have you ever whitened your teeth? Whether with strips, or other systems?

Those glow in the dark teeth though!

I wish I could use trays, but they make me gag, so I stick to strips - work like a charm! Love the results of this product on your smile!

  20. <3 You're so sweet. Thanks Lilli. Glad that you were able to read my review. Yes, I have to be careful as well, so I would say that if you have sensitive teeth/gums as I did just make sure to not keep it in over an hour. xx

  21. Haha, that's a great episode. Oh, yes, I understand those trays aren't for everyone. When making the impressions, you do them yourself, which means putting them in your mouth.Slightly uncomfortable, but certainly tolerable. lol. xx
