My dear lovelies, the scent of winter is in the air! A crisp, dense cold and shorter days. But it's also the season of comfort. The season of bonhomie and warm spices lingering in the winds, giving us all a cuddle to embrace the season. Are you ready?
It's such a wonderful time of year, and I am bringing you a few suggestions for gifts and inspiring ideas for entertaining. I always love to give you exclusive gifts and this year it's the gift of two chances to receive beautiful pieces from France.

This ceramic baker is just the right size for a small family or if you want a dish that is an in-between size, making it ideal. It bakes beautifully and distributes, absorbs, and retains heat well.
I decided to make a delicious squash and sausage casserole (Recipe here!) — it was absolutely divine! You could also make a dish of potato Dauphinoise (creamy and comforting) or a classic lasagne (a crowd-pleaser for everyone). Whatever you choose, just know that this modern baking dish bakes beautifully.
Nothing says, “Let’s cook for many” than a one-pot meal in a big Dutch Oven, but usually one cannot find a lighter and smaller version. The Delight round Dutch oven is a great vessel to cook or bake in, and this new style comes in a 2 Qt. size (featured), in black. I decided on a chicken chilli, but in this Dutch oven, you can bake bread, stews, and more.
Ruffled Pie Dish
It’s pie season … To be honest, isn’t there always a reason to make a pie? Savoury sweet pies or anything you want to bake in these will do!
The exaggerated ruffle shape is such a gorgeous pie shape that also gives a contemporary aesthetic. I have baked in this dish three times, from apple pies to chocolate caramel desserts. This pie dish is deep, so one could also make a savoury deep dish … fill in the blank as you will. If you love baking, you will definitely want to choose this one!
