Materials:
Pom-poms
Silk leaves or silk flowers
Jute twine or cording
Fabric glue
Scissors
Hot glue sticks
Hot glue gun
Method:
- With scissors cut the jute twine/cording to your preferred length for the garland. (I made a small garland with a length of around 90cm/35in.) Make a slip knot on each side of the cord. Set aside.
- Choose and count out sets of three loose leaves, and layer each leaf on top of each other. *You can use two or three layers, or more depending on the length of your twine. Use a dab of fabric glue to adhere each layer set together. Let it dry completely.
- Lay out the twine flat, going horizontally to get an idea of where you want your pom-poms placed. Mark each position with chalk or a pen.
- One by one, take a pom pom and add hot glue to the middle of it, quickly pick up the twine and place the marked area of twine in the centre of the pom-pom with the glue. *Tip: Pull down on both sides of the twine to secure the pom-pom in place with one hand, then use the other hand to squeeze the pom-pom, and wait for the glue to cool. Repeat this step for each pom-pom until you are happy with the number of pom-poms on the twine.
- Add the sets of layered leaves to areas on the twine where there is space between the pom-poms. Spread them out for balance.
- To embellish the garland further, add one pom-pom on the top of each layered leaf set. Hang the garland as you wish!

The popcorn kit includes a recipe for s’mores popcorn, washi tape to secure bags, carnival popcorn bags, containers with popcorn kernels, tins filled with harvest spiced digestive biscuits or graham crackers, chocolate chips, and marshmallow cream.
