I decided to upgrade the traditional perspective of "sporty-chic" à la contemporary fashion, being that I love a touch of elegance in my sportswear. I could have easily added trainers to this look, but wanted to kick my outfit up a notch after a meeting with a friend since I was going out for dinner afterwards. Being that it's not summer, and just in the infancy stages of spring, the weather is fickle. This means that a sleeveless fashion piece will need some stylish company.

I also brought back a few oldie-but-goodie elements as well--a bold wine colour mixed with the leatherette sharp cuts in the side seams. This was my workable style palette to blend with natural tone pieces as neutral accents. I love a great dash of colour, but you can certainly welcome spring in various ways without leaning to traditional florals.
The knit dress itself can be for day or night, and I love the structured jacket with it because it adds a bit of sophisticated grace to an already edgy piece.
