The Dated Sessions:
Over the weekend I wore this leather jacket (below), which had not come out of my closet for a warm greeting in years... 2yrs. to be exact. Reminiscent of perusing through my parent's coat/jacket closet when I was a little girl this jacket reminds me of a time when I finally knew that I loved fashion. Thoughts of how hip my parent's clothing was entered my mind as I watched each piece draped from the hangers (begging for me to take a peek). Though, I acquired this particular piece from a vintage store somewhere in L.A., I still love it!
The vintage lace and leather fringe scarf is a dated favourite that I picked up in New York circa 2001. I also decided to add a small satin tie on the chain of my boots to complete this look.
Black Patent leather croc handbag. Yes, small & shiny!
Wearing this piece as a brooch, belt trim, hat adornment, or anything else will suffice! With that being said, I do believe that I actually may have used this on a dull handbag even at one point. I know, I cannot help it, making your fashion selections personal is what it's all about!
Isn't something. I remember finding out my mother was stylish one day too. And started wearing her clothes: 70's disco dresses in the 80's. Well, I had a blast even though I wasn't popular with my fashion choices :D The boots look amazing! Instant sex appeal.
