I had to rapidly muster an outfit that would be versatile for after hours, so I decided on this look. Surprisingly I selected this fitted dress. Typically I would lean in the direction of something more structured or roomy, however for some reason I felt in the mood for easy colour and minimal accessories. A multi-occasion outfit does not exactly need to be complicated or loaded with jewellery.
How is your week going so far?
I love this colour combo on you!! I would even wear the jacket out at night too, id just put on a sky high heel and sparkly clutch. I love how our taste is so similar!! Love your work missy xx

ReplyDeleteBlack and white with a pop of red is a great combo. Very cute!!
ReplyDeleteYou are wearing the heck out of that dress, friend. Super classic but totally sexy.
ReplyDeletei love the fitted dress with the blazer. is it weird if i think everything i wear to work is appropriate for wearing at night? i swear, i don't dress like the office slut, but i don't wear the typical/usual work attire either. good thing there aren't any dress code rules.
ReplyDeletehaha! No it's not weird. You lucky girl! I wouldn't say that "all" of my outfits for work can be transformed into night lively, but many of them are... though there are times when I want to be a bit more sexy, i.e. on date night than my work attire. Thanks Cheryl! co :-)
ReplyDeleteOh nope, totally just didn't mention it! It's from Urban Outfitters! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lady Vix! xxoo
ReplyDeleteI agree especially with tights, the blazer made this look completely different, I'm glad that I chose to toss them

Loove your dress babe! My week has been crazy busy and yours? xx
ReplyDeleteA great example of taking a dress from day to night. I think more people should take this line of thinking. Rather than going for multiple outfits, it's all about minimalism, wearing the most of what you've got.
ReplyDeleteFantastic outfit - I love the pops of red!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having an awesome week!xxJoanna
I totally adore that dress! One of my favorite outfit looks from you. That was a great choice! I usually opt for dresses myself when I have an event right after work. All it takes is a blazer to make it work appropriate. :)
